Vodafone MWC Demo
From Network Chaos to Autonomous Intelligence
Designed the UX/UI and product experience for Stratos, an AI-powered network intelligence platform created for Vodafone’s MWC showcase, demonstrating the future of autonomous telecom operations through agentic AI, live network optimisation, and real-time operational insights.
Built around a “digital twin” of Ireland’s telecom network, Stratos transformed complex operational data into intuitive, action-driven experiences for NOC operators, RF engineers, and senior stakeholders. The platform combined live service monitoring, AI-driven optimisation flows, network health visualisation, and conversational insights to help operators identify issues, prioritise impact, and simulate automated network improvements in real time.
The experience was designed to simplify highly technical workflows into a cohesive, live-feeling product narrative moving from network chaos to intelligent, agentic operations. Across the platform, AI agents surfaced optimisation opportunities, correlated alarms with planned works, generated operational recommendations, and translated network complexity into clear, human-centred decision making.
My role covered end-to-end product and interface design, including UX strategy, dashboard design, interaction design, visual systems, information hierarchy, and storytelling across multiple interconnected experiences. Working closely with creative, technical, and strategy teams, I helped shape a scalable design language that balanced Vodafone branding, operational clarity, and futuristic AI-driven interactions.
The final experience was showcased at MWC as part of Vodafone and Accenture’s vision for the future of autonomous networks and AI-assisted telecom operations. It also was featured at the google booth.
